Michael Hester

President

Mike joined the family business in 1987 as a project engineer and continued on to work as an estimator, project manager and operations manager before being promoted to president in 1990. Mike was instrumental in leading his new management team through operational changes and under his direction, annual revenue has increased from $10 million to more than $150 million. With over 30 years of experience, Mike oversees all aspects of the company’s operations and business development. His leadership has helped to position McGuire and Hester as one of California’s most respected heavy civil construction companies.
