During the Korean War approximately 37,000 Americans and one million Koreans lost their lives. In honor of those who served and sacrificed during this war, on August 1, 2016, a new Korean War Memorial opened at the Presidio.
Built by the Korean War Memorial Foundation and the Presidio Trust, McGuire and Hester was contracted to construct the memorial that is located just outside San Francisco National Cemetery. Our crews performed all concrete, landscape, construction of the forms and installation of the memorial wall.
