McGuire and Hester worked adjacent to designated sensitive wetland areas to construct a 4,000 lineal foot cast-in-place concrete box culvert that required massive excavation and structural backfill. Wetland loss was mitigated with the installation of a 15 acre marshland pond.
McGuire and Hester installed multiple storm drain branch lines for the overall drainage of approximately 200 acres of wildlife mitigation. Additional work included the planting and maintenance of native wetland plants. All concrete, grading, drainage, and landscape work was self-performed. The entire site, including the wetlands pond, was replanted with native species plants.
